Avionics System Designer Enhance vision system Avionics System Designer Why join our EVS team?

CMC electronics is engaged in Enhanced Vision System (EFVS) development programs.

It is seeking Avionics system designer to aid in the development and integration of the next generation EVS product.

Work includes the specification, validation, design, test and verification of the CMC electronics products.

System Engineering work will include all steps required to integrate and install the equipment onto the customers’ aircraft.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Capturing the detailed system design including architectural design, MMI design, Logical and physical interfaces, behavioural design logic.

These designs should be consistent with performance and safety requirements as well as customer and regulatory requirements; Requirement analysis and management using DOORS including demonstration of compliance to customer and certification regulation requirements; Creating systems level tests to validate the design and develop systems integration testing on the SIL and aircraft during development and demonstration phases; Creating the artifacts associated with an integrated avionics solution including Block Diagrams, Physical and data ICDs, Wiring Diagrams, etc.

to meet the customer Statement of Work; Addressing issues/problems during development/certification and provide recommendations for resolution.

Also, identify program impacts and prepare technical descriptions to support certification process at the box and aircraft level; Working closely with third-party avionics suppliers to ensure successful equipment integration and performance within the core avionics systems; To join our team, you must: Minimum Bachelor of Electrical or Software Engineering; AND A minimum of 4 years’ experience in avionics systems validations Experience with system requirements definition and verification; Proficient with MATLAB and software programming skills to create test scripts, etc.
